New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum looks at the 3,000-year old agricultural history, heritage and science of New Mexico, with a strong emphasis on hands-on exhibits, demonstrations such as blacksmithing, western roping, southwestern cooking and dairy farming. Live animals and crops surround the museum. Located 1.5 miles east of Telshor on University Avenue. Museum hours are Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sundays noon - 5 p.m.
